What is it?
The Curiosity Collective is an online meeting of international people supporting one another to explore their faith. We come from a variety of Christian traditions or no tradition at all and are a curious, critical thinking bunch. Some of us go to church and some of us do not engage with church at all.
We meet every two weeks on a video call and are always happy to see new faces.
The meetings last one hour and are facilitated for the first 20 minutes or so before opening up into sharing. In the first section we are led in meditation, prayer, journaling, and often look at a reading from modern Christian literature, apocryphal texts, or the Bible.
During the open sharing, anyone can ask questions, share a reflection or something that you are struggling with in relation to Christianity. We may hear what others have in way of shared experiences, theological perspectives, or you're welcome to share and request no comments from the group if preferred. And there is never any pressure to speak if you'd rather just listen.
If you have any questions or would like to know a little more before coming along, then please get in touch below. We'd be happy to answer any questions via email or arrange a phone call if you'd like to touch base before joining a session.
