My time has not yet come

My time has not yet come,

As Mary once hesitated.

In the garden she mitsook You,

Your voice her loving reinstated.

My time has not yet come,

As Thomas too has doubted,

Your body is not here to touch,

and Your bread the church has shrouded.

My time has not yet come,

With Mary I sit weeping.

Too much to encompass,

the rewards Your death is reaping.

One day my time will come,

When to me You're resurrected.

No egoistic understanding,

heart leading unprotected.

And when my time shall come,

I hope to witness Your true worth,

seeing You, accepting You rise,

in Your death I'll see Your birth.
