There Is No Place To Be

When I die and the rise and fall of my chest
has settled and stillness arrives,
don't rush or haste,
there's no place to be,
simply sensing by my body's side.
And when time has passed and you are ready to stand,
take gentle and mindful steps,
this isn't a race,
there's no place to be,
you can't yet go to where my soul left.
For when darkness engulfs me I'll know I am home,
as I can no longer be pulled
into currents far from,
the grace of God's Creation,
as at last I shall be fulfilled.
For the suffering will cease and I'll return to the flow
of a power greater than me.
I will enter a state,
of Love, free from hate,
a peace for those who have no place to be.
So take your time and listen to your soul,
for this is how we'll connect,
in moments of stillness,
when you sense what you feel,
and your grief will know no neglect.
Lastly when you are ready simply notice God's worth,
in nature's true harmony,
of Sun and Sea,
of storms and trees,
for this is the place I shall be.
